COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc program requires continuous enrollment in the PSYC 899 MSc Thesis course for every term until graduation, ensuring ongoing thesis development and supervision. In the first year, students complete a set of foundational and methodological courses: PSYC 801 Design of Experiments, PSYC 802 Introduction to Multivariate Analysis, PSYC 805 and PSYC 806 Introduction to Assessment, PSYC 827 Adult Clinical, and PSYC 829 Ethical and Professional Issues. These courses provide essential training in research design, statistical analysis, assessment principles, adult clinical practice, and the ethical responsibilities of professional psychologists. In the second year, students progress to more advanced and specialized clinical coursework, including PSYC 809 Child–Adolescent Clinical and PSYC 847 Treatment Theory and Process, which deepen understanding of developmental psychopathology and therapeutic approaches. Additionally, students must complete introductory clinical practica, PSYC 838 and PSYC 839, offering supervised clinical experience to apply assessment and intervention skills in real-world settings. Together, these requirements ensure that MSc students receive rigorous academic instruction, research training, and practical clinical experience, preparing them for advanced study or professional practice in psychology while meeting program competencies across assessment, intervention, ethics, and research.
