COURSE CURRICULUM

The M.Sc. in Biomedical and Molecular Sciences requires a minimum of 12 graduate-level credit units. All students must complete two mandatory 3-credit core courses in their first year: BMED 860 and BMED 897. Additional credit requirements vary by Field Specialization. Students may count a maximum of one 3-credit dual-numbered undergraduate course toward their total credits.For the Biochemistry and Cell Biology field, M.Sc. students complete the remaining 6 credit units in consultation with their supervisor, choosing from any BMED graduate courses. It is strongly recommended that students take at least one course offered by the Biochemistry and Cell Biology field, such as BMED 820, BMED 821, BMED 823, or BMED 842. Courses from other departments may also be included if approved by the Graduate Coordinator and supervisor.
