COURSE CURRICULUM

The graduate curriculum in Biology at Queen’s University offers a comprehensive and flexible range of courses designed to provide advanced training across multiple biological disciplines, with most courses valued at 3.0 credit units and offered in fall or winter terms, while some specialized 900-level courses carry 1.5 units, and thesis research courses, BIOL 899 and BIOL 999, carry 6.0 units. Core courses cover mathematical modeling in ecology and evolution (BIOM 800), evolutionary medicine (BIOL 801), plant molecular biology and metabolism (BIOL 806, BIOL 811), computational biology (BIOL 812), and contemporary biological issues (BIOL 817).
