COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Organizational Behaviour curriculum is designed to provide students with a rigorous foundation in research methods, theoretical knowledge, and applied skills for understanding individual, group, and organizational dynamics. All students begin with core courses that include Research Foundations and a Major Research Project, which provide essential skills for designing, conducting, and presenting independent research. Within the specialization, students take courses such as Foundations of Research in Organizational Behaviour and a Seminar in Micro-Organizational Behaviour, which explore key topics like motivation, leadership, decision-making, and group dynamics, as well as theoretical frameworks and empirical research methods relevant to organizational studies. Students also select electives approved by their supervisor, allowing for further exploration in areas such as Advanced Topics in Organization Theory or Attitudes and Attitude Change, enabling them to tailor their studies to specific interests or career goals. Methodological training is emphasized through courses in Statistics I, Qualitative Research Method Design, Experimental Research Method Design, and Survey Research Method Design, equipping students with both quantitative and qualitative skills to conduct robust organizational research. Altogether, the curriculum integrates theoretical, methodological, and applied perspectives, preparing graduates for research-intensive careers in consulting, human resources, organizational development, management, or for further doctoral studies in organizational behaviour or related disciplines.
