The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Sociology requires a total of 120.00 units, combining core courses, options, and electives. The core component includes 6.00 units from foundational courses such as Thinking Locally and Acting Globally (BADR 100 & 101) or Perspectives in Sociology and Major Themes in Sociology (SOCY 100 & 101), as well as SOCY 122, Introduction to Sociology. Students then complete SOCY 210, Social Research Methods (3.00 units), followed by 3.00 units of introductory statistics through SOCY 211 or related STAT options.
