COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Arts in Christian Studies program at Providence Theological Seminary includes core courses that provide a solid foundation for theological reflection and practical ministry. Theological Foundations introduces students to key doctrines of the Christian faith, helping them build a strong framework for understanding God, Scripture, and the Church. Reading the Church’s Bible equips students with essential tools for interpreting Scripture within the broader context of Christian tradition and community, encouraging thoughtful engagement with the biblical text. Christian Ethics explores moral decision-making from a theological perspective, addressing contemporary ethical issues and helping students develop a biblically informed approach to personal and communal life. Worldview and Culture examines the intersection of faith and culture, enabling students to understand and engage thoughtfully with the diverse worldviews shaping society today.
