COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science in Forensic Psychology program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to develop expertise in both foundational and specialized areas of forensic psychology. Core courses include Data Analysis 1, Advanced Methods in Neuroscience, Advanced Multivariate Statistics, and Advanced Research Methods, providing students with strong research and statistical skills. The program also includes specialized seminars and thesis research to deepen practical and academic knowledge. Students explore a wide range of forensic psychology topics such as aggression, applied neuroscience, cognitive and affective neuroscience, interpersonal relations, memory, psychotherapy, social influence, and cognitive development. Further courses focus on key forensic themes like confessions and interrogations, neurobiology of antisocial behavior, personality and crime, psychology and law enforcement, courtroom psychology, youth justice issues, psychopathic behavior, risk assessment, sexual offending, child witness testimony, wrongful conviction, forensic psychology practicum, forensic mental health, deception detection, and investigative psychology. Additionally, the program offers special topics courses that allow students to explore emerging or niche areas within forensic psychology.
