COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Engineering (MEng) program in Mechatronics Engineering offers a diverse and interdisciplinary curriculum that equips students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in mechanical, electrical, software, and control engineering. Core courses include advanced engineering mathematics, programming methodology, engineering communication and ethics, and project management. Students can specialize in areas such as advanced robotics and automation, MEMS and nanotechnology, manipulator and mechanism design, and mobile robotic systems. The program also includes cutting-edge topics like biomechatronic systems, artificial intelligence and machine learning applications, control design in robotic systems, model predictive control, advanced system dynamics, and neuromechanics. Additional courses cover advanced dynamics, micro and nano manufacturing, innovative design engineering, and software development methods. Students also study various control systems, including adaptive, nonlinear, embedded real-time, discrete time, and intelligent control systems, as well as advanced fluid power control and simulation. The MEng project allows students to apply their knowledge in a practical setting, synthesizing skills across disciplines. Special topics and seminars further enhance learning by exposing students to current research and industry trends.
