COURSE CURRICULUM

Associate of Science Degree with a Chemistry Emphasis, students must complete a comprehensive set of chemistry and mathematics courses designed to build strong theoretical knowledge, laboratory expertise, and analytical skills. The program begins with CHEM 111 Principles of Chemistry I and CHEM 121 Principles of Chemistry II, which introduce fundamental chemical concepts, reactions, and laboratory techniques. Students then progress to advanced chemistry courses including CHEM 211 Physical Chemistry, CHEM 212 Organic Chemistry I, CHEM 222 Organic Chemistry II, CHEM 221 Inorganic Chemistry, and CHEM 226 Introduction to Analytical Chemistry. These courses provide in-depth understanding of chemical structures, molecular interactions, reaction mechanisms, quantitative analysis, and experimental procedures essential for scientific research and industrial applications.
