The Information Systems Business Analysis (ISBA) program provides students with a comprehensive blend of technical and business knowledge, preparing them for dynamic careers at the intersection of IT and business operations. In Semester 1, students build foundational skills through courses like Introduction to Information Systems, which explores how technology drives business success, and Information Systems Ethics, focusing on legal and ethical challenges in a tech-driven world. Business Process Development examines the flow of processes across departments using ERP simulations, while Database Management introduces relational databases and SQL. Computer Applications for Business and Technology ensures students can confidently use key Microsoft Office tools in professional settings. Semester 2 deepens the technical and analytical skillset, starting with Introduction to Systems Analysis and Development, which teaches how to assess and design effective systems using hands-on case studies. Career Planning and Professional Skills prepares students for the workforce with training in resume writing, interviews, and workplace communication. Project Management gives insight into managing resources, planning, budgeting, and using tools aligned with PMI standards. Foundations of Computer Science introduces computing fundamentals including hardware, software, and data organization, while e-Business and e-Commerce Management explores how digital technology transforms business operations. Finally, Introduction to Programming introduces Java, teaching programming logic, algorithms, control structures, and functions, forming a solid base for future software development.
