COURSE CURRICULUM

The Denturist Technology diploma program includes a structured sequence of courses designed to build both theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for a successful career in denturism. In Term 1, students start with foundational courses like Lab Skills I, Professional Practice for Denturists, Introduction to Anatomy and Removable Partial Dentures, and Oral Pathology. Term 2 focuses on Documentation and Treatment Planning, Introduction to Digital Dentistry, Lab Skills II, and Introduction to Clinical Prosthodontics, enhancing both technical and clinical understanding.Term 3 continues with Lab Skills III, Patient Care I, and Removable Partial Denture Design, preparing students for direct patient interaction and advanced design work. Term 4 expands clinical skills with Patient Care II, Lab Skills IV, and Introduction to Dental Implants, integrating emerging dental technologies into the curriculum.The program also includes an intersession Clinical Practice I, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in real-world settings. In Terms 5 and 6, students complete Clinical Practice II and III alongside Practice Management, which equips them with the business and operational knowledge needed to run a successful denturist practice. This well-rounded course structure ensures graduates are thoroughly prepared for both the clinical and professional demands of the denturist field.
