COURSE CURRICULUM

The Instrumentation Engineering Technology diploma program includes a robust curriculum that equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to thrive in the automation and control systems industry. In Term 1, students build foundational skills in industrial chemistry, basic electrical theory, and process instrumentation, while gaining hands-on experience in industrial practices and developing core competencies in mathematics and physics tailored for instrumentation applications. Term 3 dives deeper into automation with courses in data communications, process control, advanced measurements, industrial programming, and instrumentation engineering, along with an introduction to analyzer technologies used in monitoring chemical and physical properties. By Term 4, students focus on more advanced concepts like process control strategies, analyzers, system integration, and instrumentation materials, all culminating in a technical report project that synthesizes their learning.
