COURSE CURRICULUM

The Digital Design program’s course structure provides a comprehensive foundation in design, UX/UI, and web development across three levels. In Level 1, students start with core courses such as Interpersonal Design Practices and Ethical Standards, Digital Design Tools, Introduction to Graphic Design, Layout Design, and Introduction to UX/UI Design. They also learn the basics of web design and responsive web design, preparing them to create adaptable websites for various devices. Level 2 builds on this foundation with courses like Collaborative Design Practices, Introduction to Multimedia, Typography, User Interface and User Experience Design, Accessible Web Design, and Content Strategy. For students in the Web Development stream, specialized courses include User Interface for Web Applications, Style Sheets for Design Systems, and Front-End Development I and II, focusing on technical skills such as CSS and JavaScript. Level 3 culminates with the Digital Design Capstone, where students apply their knowledge to a comprehensive, real-world project. This curriculum combines creative design principles with practical technical skills, preparing graduates for diverse roles in web development, UX/UI design, and digital media industries. The program equips students with the tools and experience to craft engaging, accessible, and user-friendly digital experiences.
