COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Administration – Entrepreneurship and Innovation diploma program is structured over three levels, offering a comprehensive blend of foundational business knowledge and specialized entrepreneurial skills. In Level 1, students build a strong base with courses such as Introductory Financial Accounting (ACCT1115), Business Productivity Software (CMIS1101), Communications 1 (COMM1101), and Introduction to Marketing (MARK1130). Additional courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, human resources management, business math, principles of management, and organizational behaviour ensure a well-rounded understanding of core business principles. Level 2 focuses on advancing management and entrepreneurial skills with courses like Introductory Managerial Accounting (ACCT2260), Business Law (BLAW2205), and Managing Business Information Technologies (CMIS2250). Communication skills continue with Communications 2 (COMM2202), while entrepreneurship is emphasized through Intrapreneurship and Innovation (ENTR2210), Characteristics of Entrepreneurial Excellence (ENTR2230), Entrepreneurial Management (ENTR2262), Project Management (PMGT2220), and Strategic Management (SMGT2256). Finally, Level 3 culminates with Planning for New Venture Creation (ENTR3260), where students apply their knowledge to develop business plans and strategies for launching new enterprises. This course progression equips students with both practical and strategic skills, preparing them to successfully innovate and lead in various business environments.
