COURSE CURRICULUM

The Architectural Technology program’s coursework is designed to build your skills progressively over four terms. In Term 1, you’ll start with foundational courses like Introduction to Building Science I, Introduction to Construction Documents, and Technical Mathematics, alongside learning essential software such as AutoCAD and Revit I, complemented by Technical Communications I to enhance your professional writing skills. Term 2 advances your knowledge with courses like Building Systems, Architectural Construction Documents I, and 3D Design and Presentation Modelling, while you continue developing Revit skills and gain insight into professional practice and design fundamentals. In Term 3, you’ll deepen your technical expertise through Architectural Construction Documents II, Architectural Detailing I, and Building Design I, alongside further training in Revit and presentation applications, supported by Technical Communications II. Finally, Term 4 focuses on advanced topics with Building Science II, Professional Practice II, Architectural Construction Documents III, and Architectural Detailing II, combined with Building Design II and a Final Project that integrates your learning in a practical, comprehensive assignment.
