COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) – Entrepreneurship and Innovation concentration at NAIT offers a comprehensive, industry-aligned curriculum that equips students with the skills and mindset to thrive in entrepreneurial and innovation-focused careers. In Level 1, students build foundational business knowledge through courses such as Introductory Financial Accounting, Business Productivity Software, Communications, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Human Resources, Marketing, Business Math, Principles of Management, and Organizational Behaviour. Level 2 introduces more specialized content, including Managerial Accounting, Business Law, Business IT Management, Advanced Communications, Business Analytics, Intrapreneurship and Innovation, Entrepreneurial Excellence, Entrepreneurial Management, Project Management, and Strategic Management, along with electives in Digital Marketing and Professional Selling. In Level 3, students engage in advanced entrepreneurial learning through courses like Planning for New Venture Creation, Innovation Through Design Thinking, Business Modeling, Applied Business Ethics, Corporate Finance, and Leadership, with electives available in Consumer Behaviour, Indigenous Business Perspectives, Sales Techniques, and Strategic Management. Level 4 focuses on launching and financing new ventures through Creating a Business Plan, Entrepreneurial Finance, and International Business, while recommended electives such as Business Negotiations, Marketing and Sales Management, Change Management, and the two-part BBA Capstone provide further depth. This curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with real-world application, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in business planning, financial strategy, innovation processes, and leadership development. By the end of the program, graduates are prepared to launch their own ventures, lead corporate innovation initiatives, or consult in dynamic industries, bringing creative solutions and strategic thinking to the forefront of business challenges.
