COURSE CURRICULUM

Management program provides a comprehensive and practical education in business, designed to build leadership and analytical skills across four years of study. In the first year, students develop foundational knowledge in accounting, finance, marketing, management, and computer applications, along with core communication and writing skills. Year two expands on this foundation with courses in commercial law, entrepreneurship, human resources, nonprofit management, and macroeconomics, while also allowing for one elective with a focus on Indigenous or global studies. In year three, students gain critical insights into organizational behavior, leadership, quantitative decision-making, and international business. They also refine their communication skills with an advanced writing course and strengthen their analytical abilities through statistics. The final year prepares students for the strategic aspects of business management with advanced topics in entrepreneurship, project management, and business simulation. A capstone course in strategic management challenges students to apply their accumulated knowledge to real-world scenarios, while a course in business ethics ensures they consider broader social and moral implications. This program blends academic rigor with practical experience, offering students the tools and experience necessary for leadership roles in various sectors, while also providing opportunities for co-op, networking, and industry engagement throughout their studies.
