COURSE CURRICULUM

The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Human Resources Management requires students to complete 60 credits to graduate. The program includes a Post-Baccalaureate Core consisting of foundational business courses such as Introductory Financial Accounting I and II, Business Mathematics, Introduction to Microeconomics, Marketing Concepts, and Introduction to Organizational Behaviour. Additional core courses cover Management Accounting and Control, Research in Management, Business Decision Making, Business Ethics, Commercial Law, Business Statistics, and culminate with Business Strategy and Policy I. These courses provide a solid grounding in essential business principles, analytical skills, and ethical considerations. The Area of Concentration in Human Resources Management requires students to complete all of the following: Management of Human Resources and Change Management and Innovation Leadership. Additionally, students must select fifteen credits from specialized human resources courses, including Recruitment and Selection, Industrial Relations, Compensation and Rewards, Occupational Health and Safety, Human Resources Planning, and Training and Development. This combination ensures a comprehensive understanding of HR functions, strategic leadership, and organizational development. The program prepares graduates to effectively manage workforce challenges, develop HR policies, and contribute to organizational success. It equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in human resources roles across various industries, making them well-prepared for careers in recruitment, employee relations, compensation management, training, and safety compliance.
