COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program at Nipissing University with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Leadership combines core business education with specialized courses that foster entrepreneurial thinking and leadership skills. In addition to fulfilling the standard BBA requirements—including foundational courses in accounting, economics, marketing, organizational behaviour, business ethics, finance, operations, strategy, statistics, and information systems—students in this concentration must complete 18 additional credits tailored to entrepreneurship. Required courses include ADMN 2156 Introduction to Entrepreneurship and ADMN 3306 Small Business Administration. Students must also choose six credits from MKTG 2417 Communications: Selling and Sales Management, ADMN 3917 Creativity for Innovation, or FINC 4917 Entrepreneurial Finance, which provide further depth in entrepreneurial marketing, innovation processes, and financial decision-making. Additionally, students complete six credits from options such as ADMN 4306 and 4307 Management Consulting I and II (iLEAD), or ADMN 4915 Entrepreneurship, offering immersive, applied learning experiences. The program structure includes 6 credits in humanities, science, or social science, 6 additional business electives, and 45 general electives, allowing students to customize their learning. This concentration equips graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to launch ventures, drive innovation, and lead change in dynamic business environments.
