COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Education (Educational Psychology): Human Relations concentration at Mount Saint Vincent University requires the completion of 5.0 units of coursework and is designed to deepen educators’ understanding of interpersonal and social dynamics within educational and organizational contexts. Students must complete GEDU 6170 (0.5 unit) and select 2.5 units from specialized courses such as GEPY 6642, GEPY 6643, GSPY 6823, GEPY 6644, GEPY 6645, GEPY 6646, and GEPY 6647, each contributing to the development of advanced skills in communication, empathy, conflict resolution, and leadership. The program also includes 2.0 units of graduate-level electives, allowing students to tailor their studies to align with personal and professional goals. This concentration emphasizes the application of human relations theory and research to real-world educational settings, helping teachers, administrators, and other professionals effectively address students’ social and emotional needs while maintaining a focus on learning outcomes.
