COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science Honours in Mathematics at Mount Allison University is a rigorous 78-credit program designed for students seeking advanced mathematical training with a strong scientific foundation. The program begins with introductory courses such as MATH 1111 or 1151, followed by core courses in calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations (MATH 1121, 2111, 2121, 2211, 2221). Students build on this foundation with advanced studies in analysis, abstract algebra, and applied mathematics through courses like MATH 3111, 3211, 3311, and 3411. Further specialization is achieved through higher-level electives, including selections from MATH 4011, 4111, 4121, 4221, 4311, 4951, and 4991, alongside 15 additional credits from 3000- or 4000-level mathematics courses.
