COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science Major in Mathematics at Mount Allison University is a 60-credit program that combines theoretical foundations with practical applications across scientific disciplines. Students begin with introductory courses such as MATH 1111 or 1151, followed by core studies in calculus, algebra, and differential equations through MATH 1121, 2111, 2121, 2211, and 2221. Intermediate and advanced topics include MATH 3111, 3141, 3161, and a selection from MATH 3211, 3221, 3231, or 4011, providing depth in pure and applied mathematics. Additional courses like MATH 3151, 3311, and 3411 enhance problem-solving and analytical reasoning, while 15 credits at the 3000 or 4000 level allow students to pursue specialized interests.
