The Environmental Studies program at Mount Allison University focuses on understanding the human dimensions of environmental change and addressing complex challenges through management, planning, and policy. Students explore a broad array of interdisciplinary courses, such as GENV 1201 (The Human Environment), GENV 2001 (Contemporary Environmental Studies), GENS 2881 (Traditional Ecological Knowledge), RELG 3981 (Religious Ethics and the Environment), ECON 3801 (Environmental Economics), GENV 3511 (Rural and Small Town Canada), and GENV 4111 (International Environmental Affairs), which provide insight into environmental, social, and ethical issues at local, national, and global levels.
