COURSE CURRICULUM

The Arts and Cultural Management diploma prepares students for careers in the creative sector by combining practical skills with theoretical knowledge in arts and culture, including music, theatre, dance, galleries and museums, archives and heritage, cultural policy, entrepreneurship, and literary arts. The program requires the completion of 60 credits, which include core courses such as Foundations of Arts and Cultural Management, Accounting in Arts and Cultural Management, and Computer Applications in Arts and Cultural Management, alongside courses focused on leadership, human resources, and project management. Students gain specialized knowledge in audience and resource development, applied project management, publicity and media relations, and advanced audience engagement strategies, preparing them to contribute meaningfully to arts organizations. The diploma integrates work-integrated learning experiences, including a six-credit placement that allows students to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting, fostering professional skills and industry connections. English and arts-focused courses provide critical thinking, communication, and cultural analysis skills, while electives from various disciplines—including visual arts, design, music, theatre, and interdisciplinary arts—allow students to explore personal interests and broaden their creative perspective.
