COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Commerce in Supply Chain Management major requires the completion of 63 credits, including 27 credits (nine courses) specific to the major, along with business, non-business, and open electives. Core major courses provide students with a comprehensive understanding of global supply chain operations and strategic coordination. Foundational courses such as Introduction to Global Supply Chain Management (SCMT 200) and Supply Chain Technology Management (SCMT 205) introduce the principles, tools, and technological frameworks that underpin modern supply chains. Advanced courses like Transportation Management (SCMT 305), Principles of Quality Management (SCMT 307), and Supply Chain Resource Planning (SCMT 320) develop students’ analytical and operational skills, while Business Logistics Management (SCMT 322), Procurement and Supply Management (SCMT 324), Supply Chain Coordination and Risk Management (SCMT 403), and Supply Chain Process Management (SCMT 425) focus on optimizing processes, managing risk, and coordinating resources across complex networks. In addition to the core courses, students complete six credits of business electives to expand their managerial and strategic knowledge, 18 credits of non-business electives to cultivate interdisciplinary insight, and 12 credits of open electives to tailor the program to individual interests. This structure ensures that graduates are well-prepared to address global supply chain challenges, integrate operational functions, and make data-driven decisions in dynamic business environments.
