COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Commerce in Management Major is a 63-credit program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for effective leadership, strategic decision-making, and innovative problem-solving in diverse organizational settings. Students complete 27 senior-level credits through core courses such as Research Methods for Business, Advanced Leadership Topics and Issues, Entrepreneurship, Managing Negotiation, Managerial Skill Development, Managing Change, Business Consulting, Business Innovation and Intrapreneurship, and Contemporary Business Ethics, which collectively provide a strong foundation in management theory, applied practice, and ethical business conduct. In addition, students may choose electives such as Introduction to Non-profit Management, Airport Management, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Organizations, or Special Topics in Sports Management to deepen their expertise in specific management areas and tailor their learning to career interests. The program also includes six business elective credits, 18 non-business elective credits to broaden perspectives, and 12 open elective credits, allowing students to explore interdisciplinary interests and develop well-rounded analytical, communication, and leadership skills. By combining rigorous coursework, practical applications, and flexible electives, the Management Major prepares graduates to pursue careers in corporate management, consulting, entrepreneurship, or further studies, while fostering the adaptability, critical thinking, and strategic insight necessary to succeed in today’s dynamic business environment.
