The Human Resources Management major in the Bachelor of Commerce program is designed for students who are interested in understanding and shaping the workplace through effective management of people. This program provides a comprehensive foundation in core human resources functions such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and labour relations, while also exploring strategic aspects of workforce management. Courses also cover legal issues in the workplace and strategic human resources management, preparing students to navigate complex regulatory environments and implement policies that align with organizational goals. In addition to the required senior-level HR courses, students complete non-business electives, open electives, and business electives, allowing them to broaden their skills and perspectives.
