LaSalle College Montréal’s Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in Hotel Management Technique offers a comprehensive and immersive curriculum that combines specialized concentration courses with a strong foundation in general education. The program prepares students for dynamic roles in the hospitality sector through a wide range of hotel operations-focused subjects, including front desk techniques, food and beverage service, wine stewarding, housekeeping, bar operation, banquet and convention management, and revenue management. Courses such as tourism accounting, human resources, sales techniques, marketing, supply management, and hotel and food service law ensure students develop robust business acumen. Technical training includes the use of management software, night audit procedures, and design and technical maintenance. Leadership is emphasized through supervisory and managerial courses in front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and restaurant operations. Community management and communication strategies, both in native and second languages, enhance cultural competency. The curriculum culminates in a final project and a 240-hour internship that offers real-world industry exposure.
