COURSE CURRICULUM

In the first year of the program, students are required to complete a series of foundational courses totaling 30 credits. These include AC 130 Accounting I, AC 230 Accounting II, BA 120 Organizational Behaviour, CO 131 Communications I, CO 231 Communications II, CU 248 Business Computer Applications, EC 111 Microeconomics, EC 211 Macroeconomics, MA 101 Business Mathematics, and MK 170 Marketing Principles, each worth 3 credits. In the second year, students build upon their knowledge with more advanced coursework, also totaling 30 credits. The required courses include AC 235 Computerized Accounting, AC 441 Intermediate Accounting I, AC 450 Management Accounting, AC 541 Intermediate Accounting II, BA 440 Financial Management I, BA 540 Financial Management II, LA 180 Business Law, and MA 201 Business Statistics. In addition to these, students must also complete 6 credits of approved business electives.
