COURSE CURRICULUM

The Esthetics program provides students with a comprehensive foundation in both the theory and practical skills required for a professional career in esthetics and skincare. Required courses include HS 160 – Introduction to Esthetics, which offers an overview of the field, and HS 161 – Pedicure/Manicure/Wax/Tint Lab, where students develop hands-on skills in nail and hair removal services. In HS 162 – Color & Makeup Lab, students learn application techniques and color theory, while HS 163 – Skin Anatomy & Physiology covers the biological structure and functions of the skin. HS 164 – Consultation and Analysis teaches students how to assess client needs and recommend suitable treatments. Courses like HS 165 – Diseases & Pharmacology provide essential knowledge on skin conditions and relevant treatments, and HS 166 – Skin Care Lab and HS 167 – Facials Lab offer practical training in skincare and facial techniques. Advanced skills are developed in HS 168 – Advanced Skin Care & Business Practices, which combines technical treatments with industry-specific business knowledge. The program concludes with HS 169 – Basic Massage Techniques Lab, giving students a foundation in massage as part of esthetic treatments. Together, these courses prepare students for entry into the esthetics industry with both technical expertise and client-care competence.
