COURSE CURRICULUM

The Service Excellence program at ILAC IC provides students with a comprehensive understanding of customer service and business operations through a range of focused courses. Canadian Workplace Essentials introduces students to the values, communication styles, and professional standards expected in Canada’s multicultural work environment. Food & Beverage Service develops practical knowledge of hospitality operations, including serving techniques, guest relations, and teamwork in a service setting. Front Desk Services focuses on customer interaction, reservation systems, and handling guest inquiries efficiently, preparing students for front-line roles in hotels or service centers. The Final Project allows students to integrate and demonstrate the skills and knowledge acquired throughout the program by completing a practical, career-focused assignment. Customer Service Skills trains students to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and maintain positive client relationships in various professional contexts. Event Planning teaches how to organize and coordinate successful events, emphasizing attention to detail, budgeting, and client satisfaction. Sales Fundamentals enhances students’ understanding of sales techniques, consumer behavior, and the importance of delivering value-driven service. Together, these courses build a strong foundation for success in the service and hospitality industries, enabling students to deliver exceptional customer experiences and thrive in diverse, dynamic workplace environments.
