COURSE CURRICULUM

The Supply Chain Management graduate certificate program is structured over two semesters, offering courses in-person and online to provide flexible learning options while covering critical aspects of modern supply chains. In Semester 1, students begin with Distribution 1 (SCM 5000) and Supply and Demand 1 (SCM 5001), where they learn the fundamentals of managing product flow and balancing supply with demand. Business Processes 1 (SCM 5002) introduces students to the analysis and optimization of key organizational workflows. Logistics Technology (SCM 5003) focuses on the technological tools that support supply chain operations, including SAP software. Purchasing and Supplier Management (SCM 5004) teaches strategies for evaluating and managing suppliers to ensure quality and reliability, while Business Communications (SCM 5005) helps students develop essential communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement. In Semester 2, students advance to Distribution 2 (SCM 5500) and Supply and Demand 2 (SCM 5501), building on earlier concepts with more complex scenarios. Business Processes 2 (SCM 5502) deepens the understanding of business operations and process improvements. International Logistics (SCM 5503) explores the challenges and strategies involved in global supply chain management. SCM: Competitive Advantage (SCM 5504) focuses on leveraging supply chain practices to create business value and differentiate organizations in the marketplace. The program culminates in the Supply Chain Integrative Project (SCM 5505), where students apply their knowledge to a comprehensive, real-world project, integrating all aspects of supply chain management to solve practical challenges and prepare for industry success.
