COURSE CURRICULUM

The Music Business program’s curriculum spans two semesters and offers a comprehensive overview of key industry concepts through a blend of hybrid and online courses. In the first semester, students engage with foundational topics including the structure of the music industry, marketing and finance strategies, artist management, contracts and intellectual property, branding, distribution, and entrepreneurship in music. Each course is designed to build essential skills needed to navigate the complex and competitive music business landscape. The hybrid delivery format combines online learning with interactive sessions, allowing students flexibility while benefiting from direct engagement with faculty and peers. The second semester focuses on a practical field experience, providing students with real-world opportunities to apply their knowledge in professional music business environments.
