COURSE CURRICULUM

The Medical Esthetics graduate certificate program at Humber’s North campus offers a comprehensive curriculum across two semesters, blending online, hybrid, and in-person learning formats designed for working professionals. In the first semester, students take foundational courses including Introduction to Medical Esthetics and Skin Science online, alongside hybrid courses focused on Skincare and Medical Esthetic Treatments 1 and Laser and Light-Based Therapies 1. They also learn about clinic management in The Medical Spa Practice course and gain hands-on experience through Medical Esthetics Field Experience 1. The second semester deepens expertise with courses such as Medical Spa and Retail Marketing online, and hybrid classes covering Non-Invasive Body Contouring and Skin Tightening, Advanced Skincare and Medical Aesthetic Treatments, Laser and Light-Based Therapies 2, and Advanced Esthetic Technology Techniques. Practical learning continues with Medical Esthetics Field Experience 2, providing students with valuable real-world experience. This curriculum equips graduates with advanced knowledge and skills in cutting-edge esthetic treatments, clinic operations, and marketing, preparing them for successful careers in medical esthetics within clinical and spa environments.
