COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Insights and Analytics program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with practical skills essential for data-driven decision-making in today’s competitive business environment. Delivered through a combination of in-person and online formats, the program spans two semesters and covers a wide range of topics critical to mastering business analytics. In the first semester, students engage with foundational courses such as Introduction to Database and SQL, Business Concepts, and Emerging Trends, alongside technical subjects like Machine Learning and Programming 1, Business Intelligence, and Quantitative Research Methods and Analysis. These courses provide a strong base in data management, programming, and statistical analysis, setting the stage for more advanced learning. The second semester builds on this foundation with courses like Data Analytics Tools 1, Big Data 1, Database Management and Reporting, and Communication & Data Visualization, which focus on handling large datasets, managing databases effectively, and presenting data insights clearly. Additionally, Machine Learning and Programming 2 deepens students’ technical expertise, preparing them to apply advanced analytics techniques. The program culminates with a Capstone Project in Data Analytics, where students integrate and apply their knowledge to solve real-world business problems, demonstrating their ability to generate actionable insights.
