COURSE CURRICULUM

The Artificial Intelligence – Integration and Governance graduate certificate program is delivered in a hybrid format at the Downtown campus and is structured over two semesters. In Semester 1, students build foundational knowledge and skills beginning with AIGC 5000: Data Analytics and AIGC 5001: Mathematics for Machine Learning, both of which equip students with essential analytical and quantitative skills. AIGC 5003: Machine Learning in Cloud Computing introduces the integration of AI with cloud platforms, while AIGC 5004: Artificial Intelligence Project Management focuses on the planning and execution of AI initiatives. Students begin preparing for their final project with AIGC 5005: Capstone Project Preparation and receive guidance on job readiness through AIGC 5006: Career Development in Artificial Intelligence. AIGC 5102: Introduction to Machine Learning provides a non-technical overview of machine learning concepts. In Semester 2, AIGC 5504: Emerging Technologies in Artificial Intelligence explores the latest trends and innovations in AI. AIGC 5505: Capstone Project gives students the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a supervised, real-world project. AIGC 5600: Generative AI and Prompt Engineering covers tools like ChatGPT and other generative models, while AIGC 5601: Natural Language Processing for Non-programrs teaches how AI processes human language. AIGC 5602: Governance, Policy, and Ethics in AI provides a deep dive into responsible and ethical AI practices. Students also choose one specialization from AIGC 5603: Applied AI for Business, AIGC 5604: Applied AI for Digital Arts, or AIGC 5605: Applied AI for Healthcare, tailoring their learning to a specific industry.
