COURSE CURRICULUM

The Research Analyst graduate certificate program at Lakeshore offers a comprehensive curriculum delivered through a blend of in-person, online synchronous, and asynchronous formats, designed to provide flexibility and accessibility. In the first semester, students build foundational skills through courses such as Research and Survey Design, Qualitative Research Methods and Analysis I, Spreadsheet and Database Management, Quantitative Research Methods and Analysis I, Communication Skills for Research and Business, and Ethics for Research and Business. The second semester deepens knowledge with Research Project Management, Qualitative Research Methods and Analysis II, New Research Technologies, Work and Career Management Skills, Research in Society: Enterprise and Government, and Advanced Quantitative Research Methods, Analysis, and Software Applications. These courses emphasize both the technical and ethical aspects of research, preparing students to design, conduct, and manage research projects effectively across various sectors. The program culminates in a third-semester Field Experience course, which provides practical, hands-on learning opportunities in real-world settings.
