COURSE CURRICULUM

The Advertising Media Management graduate certificate program at Humber consists of three semesters designed to equip students with practical and theoretical knowledge essential for success in the media industry. In the first semester, students are introduced to core concepts such as media management, client and agency relationships, traditional media planning, costing, buying, media measurement, and research. They also develop professional selling practices and negotiation skills, supported by computer business applications. The second semester builds on this foundation with advanced courses in media management computer applications, digital and interactive media planning and buying, media strategies, industry issues, digital e-marketing sales, and integrated marketing communications. These courses emphasize both traditional and emerging media landscapes, preparing students to navigate complex advertising environments.
