COURSE CURRICULUM

The Mechanical Engineering Technician diploma program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to excel in mechanical design, manufacturing, and maintenance. In the first semester, students develop foundational skills in engineering graphics, control circuits, workshop practices, engineering materials, technical mathematics, and technical communication. The second semester focuses on industrial pneumatics, statics, computer-assisted design (CAD), computer-assisted manufacturing (CAM), manufacturing processes, and introduces general arts and sciences. During the third semester, students delve into mechanical components design, advanced CAM techniques, industrial design, strength of materials, and continue to build technical math and workplace writing skills. The final semester includes courses in industrial hydraulics, applied dynamics, mechanical systems design, tool and die design, and mechanical systems maintenance. Additionally, students select general electives and mechanical electives to tailor their learning to specific interests or career goals. Throughout the program, hands-on labs and real-world projects complement theoretical instruction, preparing students to design, analyze, and maintain mechanical systems efficiently using state-of-the-art technologies.
