COURSE CURRICULUM

The Electronics Engineering Technician diploma program is structured over four semesters, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills essential for careers in electronic systems across multiple industries. In Semester 1, students are introduced to fundamental concepts through courses such as Digital Fundamentals, Introduction to Electronic Circuits, and Computer Hardware and Software Integration. They also develop critical academic skills in Technical Mathematics 1 and Technical Reading and Writing Skills, alongside completing a foundational electronics project. Semester 2 builds on this foundation with more advanced topics including Electronic Circuits, Programming in C, AC Circuits, and Circuit Applications, supported by Technical Mathematics 2 and Technical Workplace Writing Skills to enhance technical communication. In Semester 3, students deepen their expertise with Digital Electronic Systems, Electric Machines, Communication Circuits, and Linear Circuits, while broadening their academic perspective through an Introduction to Arts and Sciences course and a general elective. Semester 4 focuses on advanced areas such as Computer Networking, Telecommunication Systems, and Embedded Systems and Microcontrollers. Students also take an Introduction to Calculus course and choose both an Electronics Engineering elective and a general education elective to round out their studies. Throughout the program, students engage in hands-on learning in state-of-the-art labs, developing skills in circuit design, programming, and system integration.
