Humber’s Cosmetic Management diploma program is structured over four semesters, blending business and practical cosmetic application skills. In Semester 1, students focus on foundational courses including PC Business Essentials (BISM 100), Introductory Cosmetic Application (COSM 101), Cosmetic and Fragrance Product Knowledge (COSM 102), and the History of Fashion and Cosmetics (FACM 100), alongside general education and writing skills. Semester 2 advances cosmetic skills with Intermediate Cosmetic Application (COSM 151), Skin Care Product Knowledge (COSM 152), Cosmetic Marketing and Social Media (COSM 154), Ethics and Sustainability (COSM 200), and Professional Cosmetic Selling (COSM 204), complemented by Workplace Writing Skills. In Semester 3, the program delves into Advanced Cosmetic Application (COSM 206), Creative Suite Applications (COSM 208), Cosmetic Technology (COSM 230), Event Planning and Product Launch (COSM 251), and Retail Buying (FACM 200), with a general elective option.
