COURSE CURRICULUM

The Computer Programming diploma program is structured over four semesters, each focusing on developing a comprehensive set of skills for software and web development. In the first semester, students study foundational topics such as database concepts and design, fundamentals of JavaScript, algorithms and problem solving, operating systems, and web programming and design, along with technical reading and writing skills. The second semester builds on this foundation with courses in numeric computing, database programming, object-oriented programming, advanced front-end programming, and workplace writing skills, supplemented by a general elective. The third semester introduces systems design, data structures and algorithms, modern web technologies, cross-platform mobile application development, and high-level programming languages, with an option to take a general elective. In the final semester, students focus on application testing, principles of project management, network programming, advanced database programming, and web application development. This semester also includes career path development to prepare students for employment, along with a general elective course. Throughout the program, students gain practical and theoretical knowledge essential for developing integrated software solutions, with an emphasis on collaboration and project management. The curriculum equips students with skills in multiple programming languages and technologies, preparing them for diverse roles in software and web development. This comprehensive approach ensures graduates are ready to enter the workforce confidently and successfully in various sectors and organizational environments.
