COURSE CURRICULUM

The Marketing diploma program at Humber spans four semesters, beginning with foundational courses such as PC Business Essentials, Introduction to Business, Mathematics of Finance, Marketing Fundamentals, and essential writing skills. In the second semester, students build on their knowledge with courses in Financial Accounting, Microeconomics, Business Law, Principles of Management, Consumer Behaviour, and Workplace Writing Skills. The third semester focuses more intensively on marketing-specific subjects, including Marketing and Media Communications, Marketing Research and Analytics, Professional Selling, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Targeted Marketing, and Creative Design Applications, alongside a general elective to broaden learning. The final semester rounds out the program with advanced topics such as Retailing Management, Digital and Social Media Marketing, Small Business Planning, Strategic Marketing, and a valuable Field Experience in Business Marketing, providing hands-on industry exposure. Students also select a general elective to complement their studies. This comprehensive curriculum equips students with practical skills and theoretical knowledge, preparing them to meet the challenges of today’s marketing environment and succeed in diverse roles within the business and marketing fields.
