COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Engineering – Mechatronics Engineering program offers a comprehensive curriculum that blends foundational science, mathematics, and engineering with specialized training in mechanical, electrical, and computer systems. In the first year, students complete core courses in linear algebra, calculus, physics, and engineering fundamentals, alongside essential communication and teamwork skills. The second year deepens technical expertise with subjects such as differential equations, electric circuits, applied mechanics, digital electronics, and engineering project management. As students progress, they engage in hands-on mechatronics projects, instrumentation, fluid power systems, microcontrollers, and numerical methods. By the fifth semester, students begin specialization through streams in either Embedded Systems or Robotics. Courses in system modeling, electric motors, AI, and quality assurance prepare students for the integration of intelligent systems. The sixth semester emphasizes real-world applications with courses in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), control systems, and signal processing, accompanied by a multi-term co-op work experience. In the final year, students apply their knowledge through a capstone project, while further specializing with courses such as machine vision, industrial networking, microgrid applications, and emerging technologies. Throughout the program, students are trained to solve complex engineering problems, collaborate on multidisciplinary teams, and use cutting-edge technology, equipping them for careers in automation, robotics, AI, and intelligent systems design.
