COURSE CURRICULUM

The Supply Chain Management degree program at Humber offers a comprehensive curriculum that blends foundational business knowledge with specialized supply chain expertise, preparing students for success in a competitive global marketplace. In the first semester, students build essential skills through courses like Introductory Financial Accounting, Microeconomics, Business Law, Marketing, and a Degree Breadth Elective. The second semester deepens business acumen with Business Information Systems, Business Communications, Macroeconomics, Organizational Behaviour, and Statistics for Business. By the third semester, students explore Financial Management, Operations Management, and Marketing Operations Research alongside electives, while the fourth semester introduces e-Commerce, Human Resources Management, Consumer Behaviour, and a key course, Introduction to Supply Chain Management. The fifth semester focuses on Business Research Methods, Career Development, Product Design, Facility Planning, Warehousing, and Purchasing, supplemented by electives. In the sixth semester, students study Management Accounting, Global Marketing Management, Forecasting and Inventory Management, and Manufacturing/Operations Planning, culminating with a field experience placement that offers practical industry exposure. The seventh semester incorporates advanced topics like Data Science for Business Analytics, Project Management, Transportation and Network Design, and Enterprise Resource Planning. In the final semester, students tackle Strategic Management, a Senior Level Business Project, Supply Chain Analytics, and Managing Sustainability in the Supply Chain, rounding out their expertise with electives.
