COURSE CURRICULUM

The Graphic Design advanced diploma program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to develop creative and strategic designers proficient in various visual communication mediums. In the first semester, students build foundational skills in typography, design principles, digital technology, motion design, creative thinking, web technology, and academic writing. The second semester deepens these skills with advanced design, typography, digital technology, video production, web technology, and workplace writing. By the third semester, students explore the history of graphic design, branding, advanced web technology, typography, digital technology, and experience design, with opportunities to select electives. The fourth semester advances design, branding, web technology, production technology, and experience design, further refining students’ expertise. In the fifth semester, the focus shifts to information design, marketing strategies, editorial design, design research, entrepreneurship, and professional practice, preparing students for real-world challenges and opportunities. The final semester culminates in advanced information design, portfolio development, field experience, a major studio project, editorial design, and creative technologies, allowing students to showcase their skills and creativity in professional contexts. Throughout the program, students gain hands-on experience with industry-standard software and tools while honing their ability to communicate visually across multiple platforms, including print, digital, and interactive media. The curriculum’s blend of theory, practical training, and professional preparation ensures graduates are well-equipped to succeed in the dynamic and competitive field of graphic design.
