COURSE CURRICULUM

The Computer Programming and Analysis advanced diploma program offers a comprehensive, semester-by-semester curriculum designed to build in-depth technical expertise. In Semester 1, students are introduced to database concepts, JavaScript, algorithmic thinking, operating systems, and web design, while developing communication skills through technical reading and writing. Semester 2 deepens programming knowledge with numeric computing, database programming, object-oriented programming, and advanced front-end techniques, along with further writing and general education. In Semester 3, students focus on system design, data structures and algorithms, modern web technologies, mobile app development, and high-level programming languages, supported by a general elective. Semester 4 shifts to practical implementation with application testing, project management principles, network programming, advanced database techniques, web application development, and career development, along with another general elective. Semester 5 is centered around a capstone Project Development I course, where students apply their accumulated skills, and they choose five specialized elective courses to tailor their learning to areas like cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity, or machine learning. Semester 6 continues with Project Development II and five more electives, allowing students to deepen their expertise in their chosen focus areas. This structured and progressive program ensures students graduate with strong practical and theoretical knowledge, capable of developing, managing, and testing robust software solutions in diverse tech environments.
