COURSE CURRICULUM

Humber’s Business Administration advanced diploma program provides students with a strong foundation in core business disciplines and progressively builds specialized knowledge across six semesters. In Semester 1, students are introduced to business fundamentals through courses like PC Business Essentials, Introduction to Business, Marketing Fundamentals, and Mathematics of Finance, alongside foundational communication and general education. Semester 2 deepens knowledge with Financial Accounting, Microeconomics, Consumer Behaviour, Business Law, and Principles of Management. By Semester 3, students explore Financial Accounting 2, Macroeconomics, Business Computer Applications, Human Resources, and Business Statistics, while also selecting a general elective. Semester 4 shifts toward applied business skills, featuring Financial Analysis, Money and Banking, Operations Management, Business Systems, Organizational Behaviour, and Marketing Research & Analytics. In Semester 5, students focus on Corporate Finance, Leadership, Strategic Management, and Quantitative Methods, complemented by business and general electives. Finally, Semester 6 emphasizes real-world readiness with a field experience placement, courses in Personal Finance and Business Policy, along with additional electives in business and business computing. This curriculum equips graduates with practical, analytical, and strategic business capabilities, preparing them for careers in various business sectors or for further academic pursuits in business degrees or professional certifications.
