COURSE CURRICULUM

The program is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills necessary for leadership and expert practice in paramedicine. In the first semester, students engage in courses such as Advanced Pharmacology, Advanced Patient Care Theory, Advanced Care Paramedic Skills, and Advanced Patient Care Simulation, totaling 182 hours of instruction and hands-on learning. The second semester builds on this foundation with continued Advanced Patient Care Theory, Advanced Professional Practice, and Clinical Practice, offering a comprehensive 322 hours of coursework and practical experience. The final semester includes the course Unifying Concepts in Paramedicine and a significant Field Internship that provides 400 hours of immersive, real-world experience. This structured sequence combines theoretical knowledge, simulation, and clinical exposure to ensure students are well-prepared for the demands of advanced paramedic roles. The program emphasizes critical thinking, patient-centered care, and professional responsibility, preparing graduates to deliver high-quality pre-hospital emergency care across diverse populations and settings. Through a blend of classroom instruction, skills practice, and extensive fieldwork, students develop the confidence and competence required to perform effectively in complex and high-pressure environments.
