COURSE CURRICULUM

Denturism program is structured to provide a comprehensive and progressive learning experience over six semesters, totaling 2,128 hours. In the first semester, students build foundational knowledge with courses in anatomy and physiology, introduction to denturism, orofacial anatomy, dental materials, and foundational denture fabrication, alongside communications and general education courses. The second semester advances skills with intermediate complete dentures, partial denture design and lab work, oral histology, microbiology, and professional principles. Semester three deepens expertise in oral pathology, partial dentures, preventive dentistry, and gerontology, complemented by hands-on clinical practice in the Denturism Clinic. The fourth semester focuses on prosthodontic theory, radiographic interpretation, pharmacology, digital denture fabrication, and continued clinical practice. In semester five, students study advanced topics including pathophysiology, nutrition, diversity and cultural awareness, and practice management, while gaining further clinical experience. The final semester consolidates learning with courses in dental implants and denturism consolidation, culminating in an extensive clinical placement to prepare students for professional practice. Throughout the program, students engage in communications, general education, and management courses to develop well-rounded skills for effective, ethical, and culturally sensitive care within the dental profession.
